Location and dates

The conference will take place on October 5-9, 2010 in Zelenogorsk town, the suburb of St. Petersburg, in the Hotel GELIOS situated on the seashore of the Gulf of Finland (30 minutes by car or 50 minutes by public transport from St. Petersburg).

Participants will be accommodated at the same hotel.

Weather

The marine climate of St. Petersburg is characterized by relatively high air humidity, frequent cyclones and air masses brought from the Atlantic. The weather is changeable. Rainy days may occur.

During the Conference, according to the mean annual data, the temperature of +6.6 °C (average maximum +9.5 °C and average minimum +4.7 °C); clouds 7 points (on 10-points scale) is expected.
